Snyder: IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that judgment be and hereby is entered as follows against Defendant MGA Hospitality Group, Inc., a California corporation, dba Motel 6 Van Nuys ("Defendant") and in favor of Plaintiff as follows: 1. The Court finds and declares that Defendant violated Title III of theAmericans with Disabilities Act, 42 U.S.C. §§ 12101 et seq., for the purpose of the California Unruh Civil Rights Act (Cal. Civ. Code §51(f)) ("Unruh Act") damages. 2. Defendants shall, within six (6) months of the date of this Order, make their Facility accessible to Plaintiff by making the following modifications to the property known as Motel 6 Van Nuys, located at 6909 Sepulveda Boulevard in Van Nuys, California, such that each item is brought into compliance with the accessibility requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act and California Code of Regulations, Title 24, as follows: a) A properly configured accessible lobby entrance shall be provided; and b) Defendant shall implement and enforce a policy whereby individuals with disabilities shall be permitted to enter and obtain lodging at the Facility while accompanied by their service dogs. 3. Plaintiff is awarded statutory damages under the Unruh Act in the amount of $4,000, payable by Defendant to the Moore Law Firm, P.C. Trust Account and delivered to the Moore Law Firm, P.C., 332 North Second Street, San Jose, California 95112, within thirty (30) days of the date of this Order. 4. Plaintiff is awarded his attorneys fees and costs in the amount of $8,531.65, payable by Defendant to the Moore Law Firm, P.C.
