** TEXT ONLY ORDER ** On March 20, 2017, plaintiff filed this FDCPA lawsuit. On May 4, 2017, plaintiff filed a notice of settlement (dkt.3 ), reporting that he "anticipates filing a notice of voluntary dismissal... within 60 days." That seemed unnecessarily languorous to the court, but the court stood down and waited. 60 days passed and nothing was filed. On July 6, 2017, the court set a telephonic status conference for July 20, 2017, hopeful that plaintiff would get the message and file his dismissal papers before then. He did not. Frankly, the court is not interested in actually holding the telephonic status conference, since the end result would be the same as this text-only order: plaintiff has 14 more days, until August 3, 2017, to file either a motion for voluntary dismissal or a motion for default.
