ORDER: On August 13, 2018, the court issued a summons and the plaintiff filed a certificate of service stating that the plaintiff served the defendant. The court has reviewed the certificate of service and it does not demonstrate that the plaintiff served the defendant as required by Federal Rule of Bankruptcy Procedure 7004(b)(3) because the plaintiff did not serve the defendant, a domestic corporation, "by mailing a copy of the summons and complaint to the attention of an officer, a managing or general agent, or to any other agent authorized by appointment or by law to receive service of process".
