MINUTE ORDER IN CHAMBERS of the Honorable Judge James C. Mahan, on April 8, 2024. RE: Joint motion for stay pending settlement discussions (ECF No. 52 ) WHEREAS, on April 3, 2024, the court received a joint motion for stay pending settlement proceedings between plaintiff and defendants. (ECF No. 67 ). The parties represent that they have conferred and are in the process of completing a financial settlement. The parties believe they will be able to resolve this matter without continued litigation. In their motion, the parties request a stay of this matter until August 1, 2024, although they anticipate filing dismissal paperwork prior to this deadline. IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the parties' joint motion for stay pending settlement proceedings is granted. IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that this case is STAYED until August 1, 2024.
