| 2 | 2 MINUTE ENTRY for proceedings held before Magistrate Judge Eileen S. Willett: Initial Appearance in Rule 5 Proceedings as to Jesse Ramirez-Orta held on 7/28/2022. DEFENDANT SWORN AS TO FINANCIAL STATUS. CJA Attorney Loyd Tate appointed as counsel for the defendant (for proceedings held in the District of Arizona only). Defense counsel advises that the defendant will waive the Identity Hearing, but he did not have an opportunity to review the Petition with his client. The Court advises the defendant of the violations alleged in the Petition. The Government is seeking detention. Upon request of defense counsel, IT IS ORDERED setting a Detention Hearing and Status Hearing re: Preliminary Revocation Hearing. Defendant temporarily detained pending further proceedings in this district. LATER: As required by Rule 5(f), the United States is ordered to produce all information required by Brady v. Maryland and its progeny. Not doing so in a timely manner may result in sanctions, including exclusion of evidence, adverse jury instructions, dismissal of charges, and contempt proceedings.
