ORDER GRANTING8 Motion for Extension of Time to File an Answer by Defendants BALDWIN BOROUGH, BETHEL PARK BOROUGH, and GILES WRIGHT. On 4/8/2024, Plaintiff SUSAN SHEPHERD filed a complaint against multiple defendants, including Mr. WRIGHT, four municipalities, and 20 unidentified police officers. ECF No. 1. On 4/10/2024, service was executed as to all defendants, and their answer deadline was set for 5/1/2024. ECF No. 6. On 4/26/2024, counsel for Defendants BALDWIN BOROUGH, BETHEL PARK BOROUGH, and Mr. WRIGHT entered an appearance and, on behalf of all defendants, requested an additional 60 days to respond to the1 Complaint. ECF Nos. 7, 8. In their8 Motion, Defendants explain that the insurance carrier for each municipality defendant now requires separate counsel to be retained for each municipal entity, all of whom will need additional time to become familiar with the case.
