Employment cases are extremely fact-intensive, and neither appellate courts nor district courts are obliged in our adversary system to scour the record looking for factual disputes. Greere v. Bd. of Educ. of City of Chi., Ill., 267 F.3d 723, 727 (7th Cir. 2001). Compliance with the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure and this Court's Local Rules governing motions for summary judgment not only benefits the parties by clarifying exactly what is in dispute and on what evidence they rely, but also greatly benefits the court which does not have the same familiarity with the record as the parties. See Waldridge v. American Hoechst Corp., 24 F.3d 918, 924-25 (7th Cir. 1994). While it is within a district court's discretion to uphold strict enforcement of these rules, as a one-time courtesy this Court will allow Plaintiff fourteen (14) days from the entry of this Order to file an amended response that complies with these rules. If Plaintiff does not file an amended response, Defendant's Motion for Summary Judgment, if appropriate, will be granted and the case will be terminated without trial. See, e.g., Lewis v. Faulkner, 689 F.2d 100 (7th Cir. 1982); Timms v. Frank, 953 F.2d 281 (7th Cir. 1992). Based on the foregoing, Defendants25 Reply to Plaintiff's Response to Motion for Summary Judgment is also STRICKEN.
